The nocturnal photos were taken as an attempt to find my place within the cityscape of Tehran. Having migrated to Tehran, I was faced with both pleasant and disturbing scenes and this especially was pronounced during the night when lights created a scene giving rise to both awe and disturbance underlining my own sense of displacement.
