From the East : Valiasr-Enghelab

The idea here is to see and understand the journey from east to west and west to east along Enghelab Street through the perspective of a wandering lame artist residing in Tehran. It cannot be denied that the idea for this project came to the artist’s mind when the protagonist of the novel “Hunger” by Knut Hamsun, a young man with intellectual inclinations who wanders in search of food in Oslo, concluded:
“Truth isn’t always in what’s visible or balanced, but in a mind emptied of itself.”
