About Artist
Armin Abdi is an Iranian artist based in Tehran, Iran. He started his artistic career as a photographer and continued to deal with the relationship between photography and other mediums by working across the disciplines of photography, video, and multimedia installation. Abdi explores the collision between images and archival materials. He creates testable objects that invite a rethinking of how we see, suspending the viewer between observation and study. He holds a BA degree from Tehran University of Art, majoring in photography in 2017 and His works have been Shown in 14 exhibitions and several festivals in Iran.
